The Pistons overcame what had been a frustrating facet of the game to keep their championship dreams alive with Wednesday's 91-78 Game 5 win over the Heat. Detroit, which had struggled from the free-throw line in road losses in Games 3 and 4, shot 23-of-26 from the stripe while Miami went 6-of-20. Tayshaun Prince paced the Pistons with 29 points and Chauncey Billups added 17 and 10 assists. Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal continued to lead the way for the Heat, scoring 23 and 19 points, respectively. The Eastern Conference Finals return to South Beach for Game 6 on Friday (8 p.m. ET, ESPN).

The Suns turned up the heat in the second half and cruised to Tuesday's comfortable 106-86 Game 4 win. Phoenix outscored the visiting Mavericks by 15 after intermission, and shot 54 percent from the floor on the night to just 42 percent for Dallas. Leandro Barbosa led the way, hitting 10-of-13 field goals and 4-of-6 treys for 24 points, Steve Nash added 21 and Boris Diaw 20. Raja Bell, who was doubtful before the game, provided an emotional lift with nine points. Josh Howard tallied Maverick highs of 16 points and nine rebounds, while Dirk Nowitzki failed to score 20 points for the first time in 15 games this postseason, scoring just 11 on 3-of-13 shooting. The teams will head back to Dallas for a pivotal Game 5 on Thursday (8:30 p.m. ET on TNT).

Guess. . . this will be my very first post in my very first blog. . .courtesy of my better half ikee. . .To be honest i dont know what to write so i'll just type whatever come's out of my mind. . .my hunnie is hungry at d moment coz she's too lazy to get her ass up and buy someyhing to eat. . .btw i love you so much hun and tnx for making me this blog. . .uhmmm i'll be posting some of the 2006 NBA playoff highlights and the current scoreboard aswell. . .un ata kc theme ng blog na 2. . .here's a little update. . .Phoenex Suns's tied with Dallas 2-2 and just awhile ago, the Pistons Won againts Miami Heat, they still lead 3-2. . .so that's it. . .guess i'll just post some pics later.
